Nickelodeon is home to many of children’t favorite animated characters, and what better way to get kids engaged with those characters than to make original animated shorts. Below are some examples of different animated shorts Matt has produced over the years for Nickelodeon.
Unboxing The Musical
Using Custom Dolls of our Live Action Stars, this Stop-Motion video was created for Nickelodeon’s Digital Platforms. The impressive stop motion and effects were handled internally with the goal to make Stop Motion on the same level as Robot Chicken. Created and filmed internally.
Nickelodeon Portal Chase
Custom Animated piece using Nickelodeon Characters in a new stylistic faction running through different video game genres. Originally created for Digital Platforms and the popularity of the video led to Nickelodeon creating a Video Game for Nick.com based on this short. Created in partnership with Atlanta Based animation company Primal Screen.
The Loud House Vlog
The Loud House is one of Nickelodeon’s most popular shows, and what better way to connect with the audience than to do it with the character themselves. Using Adobe Character Animator these Vlogs give the ability to make simple animated content for a fraction of the cost. Originally made for Nick Digital Platforms. Created internally.
Back To School Stop Motion
Celebrating Back to School, this video was made with the same supplies that kids use everyday, morphed into Nick’s animated characters. Made of Nick’s Digital Platforms. Created and filmed internally.
Nickelodeon Portal Chase 2
Created to help promote Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Portal Chase 2 starred the TMNT running through different genres of video games, along with paid homage to their own video game history. Originally made for Nick Digital Platforms. Created in partnership with Atlanta Based animation company Primal Screen.
